Emily Williams Violinist & Teacher
My personal love is playing violin, and I spent seven years pursuing this love in college. I graduated from the University of Akron in May of 2007 with my MM in violin performance and hold a BA in Violin from Cedarville University. During my degrees I enjoyed being a part of the University orchestras, playing in small chamber ensembles and attending various music festivals in the summers. Upon completing my Masters degree I accepted a position with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra in Indiana where I am currently playing.
Welcome to My Studio
I teach violin and viola to students of all ages, ranging from the beginner to the more advanced.
My Goals as a Teacher
- To cultivate in the student a love for their instrument.
- To give the student the tools they need to achieve their goals.
- To make the student the best player they can be.
I love seeing my students learn and progress and am dedicated to helping them meet their goals and dreams.
